Disabling Google G Suite Gmail journaling

You can disable the journaling of Google G Suite Gmail messages to Veritas Alta Archiving if required.
Note: The following procedure stops the Google G Suite Gmail journaling to Veritas Alta Archiving. Emails are not saved to Veritas Alta Archiving once journaling stops.
To disable Google G Suite Gmail journaling
  1. Browse to the Google Admin console sign-in page at the following URL:
https://admin.google.com
  1. Sign in to the Google Admin console with a Google administrator account name and password.
  2. On the Google Admin console home page, select Apps.
  3. On the Appspage, selectG Suite.
  4. From the list of services on the G Suitepage, selectGmail.
  5. On the Settings for Gmailpage, selectAdvance settings.
  6. On the Advanced settings page, ensure that the General Settings tab is selected, and then under Organizations select the organization for which you want to disable Gmail journaling.
  7. In the list of settings, find Third-party email archiving, and click Disable to disable the journaling to Veritas Alta Archiving.
  8. Click Save to save the configuration settings.
