Step 3 - Activate Journaling

Select Start > All Programs > Microsoft Exchange > System Manager.

In the left navigation menu, select Servers , and then select your server name. Select the storage group that contains the mailboxes to which you want to apply journaling.

In the right-hand content frame, right-click the mailbox store to which you want to apply journaling. Select Properties in the drop-down menu.

In the Mailbox Store Properties window, select the Archive all messages sent or received by mailboxes on this storecheck box. ClickBrowse

Type**Journaling Archiveinto the available field within the Select Recipient dialog box. ClickCheck Namesto confirm that you have selected an existing mailbox store. ClickOK**.

The Journaling Archive appears within the Mailbox Store Properties window. Click OK to close the window. You have successfully activated journaling.
