Prerequisites for Exchange 2007 journaling

The following are prerequisites for the setup of Exchange 2007 journaling:
  • A fully configured installation of Exchange 2007.
  • Exchange administrator credentials for the server.
  • Your Veritas Alta Archiving journaling email address, smart host name, and domain name.
  • SMTP Port 25 open, to allow journaling traffic.
  • The Veritas Alta Archiving data center IP ranges must be added to your firewall allowlist.
