Transparent patterns

Last published : Jun 07, 2026
Transparent patterns are new built-in patterns that provide users with visibility into the internal logic of the pattern. However, customers cannot modify these patterns. Instead, they can create a copy of a pattern, and modify it as per requirement and save it as a new transparent pattern. Transparent patterns provide better control and defensibility over classification.
Transparent patterns display the following additional details:
  • Last Updated: Month and year of the last update to the pattern.
  • Version: A version of Arctera Classification in which the pattern is updated.
Refer to the following sample screen of transparent pattern details.
