Editing policies

If required, you can edit the policy to add or remove conditions and tags.
To edit a policy
  1. In the left navigation pane, click Policies.
  2. Search for and select the policy you want to edit.
  3. Click Edit.
The Edit policy dialog box appears.
  1. Modify the following details as required.
    Property Description
    Name Specifies the policy name. The name must be unique and can contain up to 100 alphanumeric, space, and special characters.
    Status Enables or disables the policy. Enable the policy if you want Arctera Classification to check for and tag items that match the policy.
    Description (Optional) Provides a short description of the policy for display in Arctera Classification.
    Risk weight Specifies the risk weight for the policy. This is a mandatory field.By default, the risk weight for all custom policies and most built-in policies is 1. You can modify the risk weight to a value between 0 and 10.
    Tags Specifies one or more tags to apply to items that match the policy conditions. Click the Tags field to choose from the list of available tags.
    Conditions Specifies one or more conditions that an item must meet for Arctera Classification to consider it a match.Click + Add Condition to add a new condition to the policy.Click + Group to add a new group of conditions to the policy.See About policy conditions.
  2. Test the policy. For more information on testing the policy, see Creating policies.
  3. After testing the policy, click Save.
