About data request
Arctera Surveillance allows you to generate data requests to search and export emails (including attachments) in PST format and collaboration messages in PDF format across the entire review set spanning all departments, using specified search criteria. The time required to process a data request depends on the size of the review set, the complexity of your query, and the date range.
Note: Only the users with theManage Data Requestpermission can perform data requests using theApplication>Data Requesttab. By default, users that have theSystem Administratorrole have this permission.
Each exported ZIP file can contain up to 1 GB of data, 25,000 emails, or 50,000 collaboration messages. If the exported data exceeds this limit, Arctera Surveillance creates additional ZIP files.
For collaboration messages, if the number of items exceeds the 50,000 limit, a confirmation message is displayed asking whether you want to export the top 50,000 items. If more than 50,000 items need to be exported, it is recommended to create multiple data requests.
Note: When exporting collaboration data, Arctera Surveillance generates separate files for each chat room per day.
