Printing and downloading the items and attachments

Besides the HTML-rendered view of the items in the Preview pane, you can print and download email items, and print collaboration items in their original form. The downloaded items exclude audit-specific information, like reviewer comments. To obtain the item and its audit information, you need to export the item.
Note: Arctera Surveillance does not support previewing certain file types, such as.dlland.exeand large files (over 10MB to maintain browser responsiveness). For compressed files, Arctera Surveillance supports previewing only the.zipfile format and does not support other formats like.7z,.tar, and so on.
You must possess the Review Messages permission to download items. By default, all reviewers and supervisors have this permission.
To print and download the email item and attachment
  1. In the left navigation pane, click Review.
  2. Filter the items in the review pane. See Filtering the items in the Review pane.
In the items grid, under Email tab, a list of review items from the selected departments appears.
  1. Select the review item in the items grid, and access the Preview tab as shown in the sample image below.

    Note: PrintandDownloadare unavailable when multiple items are selected.
  2. To preview, text preview or download an attachment, hover over the attachment, click the Dropdown icon and select the suitable option.
  3. To download the original version of item, click the Action icon and click Download.
  4. To print the item, click the Action icon and click Print.
In the Print dialog box, ensure the correct file format and specify the location to save the file.
To print the collaboration item and attachment
  1. In the left navigation pane, click Review.
  2. Filter the items in the review pane. See Filtering the items in the Review pane.
In the items grid, under Collaboration tab, a list of review items from the selected departments appears.
  1. Select the review item in the items grid, and access the Preview tab as shown in the sample image below.

Notes:
1\. Print and Download are unavailable when multiple items are selected.
2\. For collaboration items, only the Print option is available. Attachments associated with collaboration items can be printed or downloaded.
  1. To preview or download an attachment, hover over the attachment, click the respective options.
  2. To print the item, click the Action icon.
For printing collaboration messages, the following options are available:
  • Print Selected Message: Prints only the message currently highlighted in the message list. It includes message header, author, metadata and content.
  • Print Loaded Conversation: Prints all messages currently visible in the UI, including those that have been progressively loaded as the user scrolls through the conversation.
    Note: Only the messages currently loaded and visible in the UI - up to a maximum of 200 messages - are included in the print loaded conversation output.
To ensure UI colors and message styling appear in the print preview or the final printout, enable Background graphics in the browser's print settings.
Click Print.
